These photos show the girls excited about the first day and getting on the bus. Then getting bored as they wait for the bus, then finally getting on the bus. The last photo is a fuzzy one as I ran out the front
The transition back to school has been interesting. We have more time in the morning (bus picks them up at 8:25), but less time in the afternoon (bus drops them off at 4:20). They used to get home at 3 in Galveston so they had a lot more time for snack, play and homework. Now, with less afternoon time we have a short snack, right to homework, and if there is time, then a little play before bedtime routine.
And, next week the girls start their first singing lessons. They both decided they wanted to try singing this year. So we are going to try it. With the bus coming so late, I will be picking them up from school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so that we can make it to singing class without too much rushing. This will be another transition to get used to. The start of school is always an adventure in managing schedules.

WOW, I was JUST thinking about you yesterday. I don't remember what it was, but I was thinking about the girls and wondering how school was going for them. And, walla! Here it is. They are so adorable. It looks like they catch the bus right in front of the house . . . that's really nice! I'm a bit disappointed in our bus stop, being a 10 minute walk from the house and right on a VERY busy road. We miss you guys. I will surely let Braeden see the pics of the girls when he gets home from school. He'll love that.
So cute Brooke! Your girls are so beautiful! I was glad to see you posted, I had been thinking about you and wondering how things were in your neck of the woods! :) Take care and good luck managing all the new schedules, but you'll do great! I'm expecting a video post in a few months of the girls singing debut! ha ha!
Wow...you all have busy schedules. How fun to be taking singing lessons! That's neat. Miss you guys.
I love the expressions on the girls' faces while they're waiting for the bus. They look like they're simply tolerating mom and her camera. So familiar with that face!! How are singing lessons going?
Oh my goodness, I miss you all sooo much! It looks like you're all wonderful and happy like always : ) Could I get your e-mail to send you an invite to our blog? Thanks so much -Natalie
